SAFARI PACKAGE RATES
Safari package rates are quoted in USD, per person per night sharing, and include accommodation, two safari activities per day, all meals and snacks, laundry, and Mfuwe airport transfers. Rates are inclusive of applicable taxes.
ROOM ONLY & ACTIVITY RATES
Room only rates are quoted in USD, per person per night sharing, and include accommodation only. Activities, meals, and extras can be organised in camp at an additional cost.
All activities are shared, subject to availability, and require a minimum number of participants.
DRINKS, PARK FEES & EXTRAS
Drinks, government park entry fees, and associated park charges are excluded from all rates. Any extras incurred in camp must be settled before departure, either by cash or credit card (credit card payments carry a 3% surcharge). Park fees are paid separately, in cash only, upon entry to the park.
In line with current Bank of Zambia regulations, all payments made in Zambia must be settled in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW). Rates are quoted in USD for reference only; the amount charged in camp will be converted to ZMW.
SOUTH LUANGWA PACKAGES
The South Luangwa packages are based on long-stay rates, and can be customised as needed. The number of nights at each property, as well as the order of properties, can be adjusted depending on availability and arrival/departure details.
SPECIALS
Specials only apply to Safari Package bookings. Bookings are eligible for the special rate as a long stay at any of our properties for 5 or more nights. Bookings made within 30 days of travel are also eligible for the special rate regardless of duration of stay.
PRIVATE VEHICLE
All activities are shared by default. A private vehicle and guide can be booked on request, at a surcharge of $250 per day.
DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
We’re happy to arrange domestic scheduled flights or charters on your behalf, at the applicable airline rates. Separate and full payment is required before the ticket hold expires.
CONFIRMATION & PAYMENTS
Deposit: For safari package bookings a security deposit of 25% of the total package rate is required to confirm your booking. For Room only bookings a 50% deposit is required.
Final Balance: The remaining balance is due in full no later than 45 days before your scheduled arrival.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made by EFT or credit card. EFT payments are recommended. All bank charges and foreign exchange fees are payable by the guest. Online credit card payments carry a 3.5% service fee per transaction.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your reservation, the following cancellation terms apply:
Bookings made on your behalf with third-party providers (e.g. flights) are subject to that provider’s own cancellation terms, separate from this policy.
CHILD & TEEN POLICY
Children of all ages are welcome at Wildlife Camp and may take part in all activities. However for safety and legal reasons, walking safaris have a minimum age requirement of 12 years.

TOUR LEADER POLICY
Tour leaders accompanying a minimum of six (6) full-paying guests are offered free accommodation in our dorm rooms and will be upgraded to guest accommodation on arrival pending availability. If you’d prefer guest accommodation to be guaranteed rather than offered on availability, guest rates will apply instead.
Tour leaders may join activities free of charge, subject to space and at the sole discretion of Lupande Safaris Limited, but are responsible for their own national park fees. Meals and drinks from the bar, and items of a personal nature such as shop purchases, are not included in any rate.
CHECK IN & CHECKOUT TIMES
Check-in is at 14h00 and check-out is at 11h00. We’ll always try to accommodate earlier arrivals or later departures where possible, though this can’t be guaranteed. Camp facilities & luggage storage is available for guests arriving early or departing late.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
All guests must have adequate travel and medical insurance, including emergency evacuation cover. Lupande Safaris Limited cannot be held responsible for the financial costs of evacuation, medical treatment, or any changes or problems arising in a guest’s travel plans.
AGREEMENT
By booking with us, the Customer indemnifies and holds Lupande Safaris Limited harmless against any and all claims for loss of any nature, however arising — including but not limited to death, injury, illness, or related medical costs suffered by the Customer. Lupande Safaris Limited is not liable for any theft, loss, or damage to property, delay, or any other claim arising from any incident during the trip, whether relating to Lupande Safaris Limited directly or to its suppliers, their representatives, or any transport, accommodation, sightseeing, or other activity.
The Customer acknowledges that, by making payment of the deposit, they have read, understood, and accepted these booking terms and conditions.
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. No representation, warranty, or statement made by or on behalf of Lupande Safaris Limited, other than those recorded here, forms part of this agreement.
