At Wildlife Camp, we’re deeply rooted in the Luangwa Valley: our commitment goes far beyond just offering a safari.

Part of every night’s stay goes directly to the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ), supporting vital work to protect this remarkable place and empower local communities through conservation education and action.

Thanks to the Chongololo and Chipembele Conservation Clubs (and their radio programs), conservation messages reach families all over the region. With our support and that of others, WWF Zambia has created four community-led forest management groups in the upper Luangwa catchment, now protecting more than 3,500 hectares of forest.

Closer to home, our activities and fisheries team looks after our 296-hectare peninsula, and our guide training program gives the next generation of safari guides hands-on experience. We also have dedicated wildlife conservation facilities right here on the property.
